Can I trade-in a broken device?

Yes, generally we accept damaged devices that are still functional. However, the trade-in value will be lower due to the cost of repairing the device.

Can trade-ins be returned?

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee your old device would be unchanged following the trade-in. Therefore, all trade-ins are final, and there are no exceptions to this rule.

Will my data be fully removed?

Of course. We take the safety and security of your data very seriously. Each device is reset to factory settings to ensure that no customer data is left behind.

How long does it take to trade-in?

Generally, we can complete a trade-in within 1 to 2 hours for smartphones, and 1 to 2 days for computers. You may experience longer waits on busier days.

How much will I get for my device?

Each device is different! Our quotes always consider the condition of the device, which affects valuation. You will always get more in store credit than cash.

Can I upgrade to a new device?

I understand that Device Pitstop is not liable for any data loss on the above equipment or any damages related to data loss. I further understand that Device Pitstop is under no obligation to purchase any equipment, regardless of its condition. I understand that I have the right to refuse to sell any equipment to Device Pitstop before the sale is completed. I also agree that in the event I do not sell my equipment to Device Pitstop, this form and/or any quotes of value given on my equipment cannot be used as a legal representation of the value or makeup of my equipment. I understand that Device Pitstop is not responsible for the loss of data, or damage to, any data that may reside on any equipment purchased. We will endeavor to remove any data from the storage device of your equipment and may format the drive in order to do so. However, I understand Device Pitstop is not responsible for any loss suffered by you due to any data that is not erased from the device and becomes available to any third part subsequent to our final deposition of your equipment. I am declaring I am the sole owner of the device and the device is not stolen or under any financial obligation. I hereby acknowledge and agree that, in the event my device is blacklisted, reported as stolen, or implicated in insurance fraud, Device Pitstop reserves the right to pursue restitution from the seller to the fullest extent permissible under applicable law. You cannot change the form of currency once finalized. I understand that all trades are final. I understand that all buys are final.
