Electronic waste is a growing concern in today's society. With the rapid pace of technological advancement, more and more electronic devices are being discarded each year. Our Mission
Electronic waste is a growing concern in today's society. With the rapid pace of technological advancement, more and more electronic devices are being discarded each year. These devices contain valuable metals and materials that can be reused and repurposed, but if not disposed of properly, they can pose a serious threat to the environment.
At Device Pitstop, we are committed to providing free and easy tech recycling services to help reduce electronic waste and protect the planet. Our recycling program is designed to make it simple for customers to dispose of their unwanted electronics in an environmentally friendly way. We accept a wide range of electronic items, including phones, tablets, laptops, desktops, and more. You can rest assured that your unwanted electronics will be handled responsibly and sustainably.
By keeping electronic waste out of landfills and promoting proper recycling, we can help contribute to a cleaner, healthier planet for future generations.
How it works
Getting rid of your unwanted electronics is very simple. Just bring your items to our store, and we'll take care of the rest. Our team will inspect your items and determine if they can be recycled, or if they require a fee to be disposed of. If your items are eligible for recycling, we'll take them off your hands and ensure that they are recycled responsibly.
Any electronics that contain data will be destroyed to protect your privacy. We take data security very seriously and always ensure that hard drives and other storage media are rendered unusable before recycling.
Usable devices are donated to Cell Phones for Soldiers, a non-profit organization that provides cost-free communication services to active-duty military members and veterans. Any other electronics will be sent to our local recycling partner, where devices are broken down into their core components and materials for proper disposal.
These avenues allow us to subsidize the recycling program and keep it free of charge for our customers. By choosing Device Pitstop for your recycling needs, you are not only helping the environment but also supporting a good cause.
